MSP360 RMM is cloud-hosted — there is no on-premises deployment option. The management console runs entirely in a web browser, and endpoints run a lightweight agent that communicates with MSP360's cloud infrastructure. Agent deployment is handled by downloading and installing the agent package on each endpoint, which can be distributed via Group Policy, scripting, or manual installation. Most teams report being operational within a single day, with G2 reviewers rating ease of setup at 9.0 out of 10.
Platform support covers Windows, macOS, and Linux. Windows has the deepest feature coverage: full OS patch management, third-party patching via WinGet, PowerShell scripting, and complete remote access including unattended sessions. macOS and Linux support includes monitoring, alerting, and remote access, but patch management depth is primarily OS-level updates — third-party application patching on these platforms is not currently supported.
If macOS or Linux represents a significant share of the managed environment, validate the specific workflows you need during the 15-day trial.
PSA integrations are available with ConnectWise PSA and HaloPSA. The ConnectWise PSA integration supports automated ticket creation from RMM alerts, which reduces manual triage overhead. The HaloPSA integration allows remote session launches directly from HaloPSA tickets.
